City Snow
In order to celebrate the recent flurry of snow, we decided to give one of our windows a winter theme. For the other, we decided to contrast with the cool tones of the snow by creating a warm, city theme.
Our snow themed window includes pictures by Graham Clarke and Dan Crisp. It also includes a selection of oil pastel and watercolour art materials that we sell - perfect for if you’re wanting to capture a snowy landscape before it fades away.
The city themed window includes pieces from Roger Fitzgerald, Nigel Cooke and Melvyn Evans, as well as a couple of monochrome prints featuring some of London’s most famous landmarks. We also have a couple of great books in there for if you’re wanting to improve your building drawing and painting skills.
Remember to pop in and take a look at all of the other amazing pictures that we have up in the gallery!
What A Lovely Day for A Royal Wedding!
To mark this wonderful day for Prince Harry and Meghan Marckle, we have a window of lovely local scenery in order to celebrate how great and picturesque Kent is... as well as throwing in some wedding themed cards in order to commemorate the big day!
Our Kentish window features pieces from Graeme Lothian and Christopher Jarvis as well as antique re-prints of local maps of Kent, and our other window features artwork from Nigel Cooke and prints from Dirty Hans
Everyone here at the Art Shop hopes that you had a fab time watching the Royal Wedding and enjoying the sunshine, and we hope to see you soon!

Christmas is just around the corner...
It's Bublé season here at the art shop, and with that we've been decorating, with 'Holly Jolly Christmas' playing on repeat getting us into that festive spirit we are now ready for the Christmas lights switch on this Friday 25th.
In our windows this week we have some exciting new pieces by Roger Fitzgerald that are included in his new book 'Buildings of London' presented in beautifully minimal white frames.
P.s Who loves our little baby frame baubles as much as we do?!
This Weeks Windows!
With Summer showing the first signs of conceding to Autumn, this weeks window celebrates the change of the seasons, with the Autumnal prints of Melvyn Evans, and original paintings of John Russell, contrasting with the summery playfulness of Quentin Blake and Anna Pugh. If you fancy trying your hand at Lino printing, come in check out our range of tools and materials.

New Cards! Artwork by Fiona Scott-Wilson
We are now stocking bright and bold cards from Green Pebble, a family art publishing company based in Suffolk. Featured here are designs by Fiona Scott-Wilson, a local artist and a regular customer here at Sevenoaks Art Shop.
Her work reflects her love of wild life and the natural world, crafted in a unique and distinctive style of richly layered paper cut images. Influenced by the Arts and Craft movement, she creates vivid and verdant scenes of the British countryside.
Featured Artist: Fletcher Sibthorp
Sevenoaks Art Shop are pleased to announce that we are currently displaying work for sale by Fletcher Sibthorpe. Born in Hertfordshire, Sibthorpe has had a successful career as a painter since training at Kingston University, gaining awards and commissions, exhibiting frequently in London and Japan.
Predominantly known for his dance paintings, Studio Print Editions have worked closely with Sibthorpe to produce high quality editioned prints of his ongoing personal series of works titled ‘Quiet Space’. Sibthorpe explains that the works “ represents for me, captured moments of human introspection and frailty, instants which exist and are gone.”
Sibthorpe displays a passion for the atmospheric and has developed a voice that combines a contemporary composition with classical references and themes.
Printed on 300gsm Somerset Satin cotton rag and embellished with leaf, we have framed these works in-house, using Art Glass throughout to minimise UV damage and reduce glare. These are exceptional artworks to own.
